“Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.”
Marie Curie
Hi, I’m Milina.
I’m on a mission to normalise the period conversation.
Our periods are about so much more than a bleed once a month. Our menstrual cycle signals our overall wellbeing and leads us through four different stages of being. It truly is a magical part of nature. Let’s change the way we talk about periods and give our daughters the full picture.
Once we normalise the period conversation, every other conversation becomes easier too. Believe me when I say I know how awkward it is to start, but also know that this pays off when your teen comes to you with even more awkward conversations.
So whether you are here to start having these positive conversations with your daughters, or you want to make the same positive change in your own communities, I welcome you, and thank you for contributing to this change too.
And for you perimenopausal mums, I’m coming for your next! This is a whole other conversation that needs to be had, and stigma to be rid of!
Much love
xx
